Who we are

Ezesha Jamii Foundation is a national NGO based in Kenya, committed to promoting holistic, community-led development. Since our establishment, we have worked with grassroots communities in Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Isiolo, Kitui, and Kilifi counties to address poverty, low literacy, health challenges, road safety, and environmental degradation. Guided by values of integrity, equity, empowerment, and sustainability, our programs focus on education, agriculture, health, environmental conservation, and road safety. We champion community ownership, ensuring local people are active participants in identifying solutions and sustaining impact. Through climate-smart agriculture, youth empowerment, and initiatives like energy-saving jikos, we strive to create resilient, thriving communities. Ezesha Jamii Foundation collaborates with local leaders, government agencies, and development partners to deliver inclusive, practical, and long-term solutions that transform lives and protect the environment. Our vision is to be a leading catalyst for sustainable development and a brighter, more equitable future for all.
